The Schools' Information Portal website (SIP) contains useful information for everyone involved with schools. Most of the site is free to access, but some areas are only available with a paid subscription.

Schools' Youth Crime Prevention Pack
The Schools Youth Crime Prevention Resource Pack has been put together with an aim to introduce schools in the Derby City area to the Youth Crime Prevention Team that work throughout the localities of the City. The overall objective of this team to prevent first time entrants into the Youth Justice System, by working with young people who are assessed as being at risk of offending.
Do you use social media?
Social media websites and tools are useful for communicating and engaging with the public and several teams use them on a regular basis. All employees of the Council, including those who work in schools, must adhere to the Electronic Communication and Social Media Policy if using any form of social media, including personal accounts when not at work.

Translate the Portal into Another Language
Google's translation service lets you add language buttons to the toolbar of your web browser. Visit the Google Translate website and add your preferred languages to translate the Schools' Information Portal and other websites.
